Job Title: Works Manager

Responsibilities

• -Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions on dry plants and heavy-duty equipment in accordance with service manuals.
• -Identify, plan and coordinate critical and consumable spare parts availability in collaboration with procurement and store.
• -Inspection and certification of parts delivered by suppliers to ensure that they are as per order and of the highest quality.
• -Monitor, report and propose corrective/preventive measures against any event or action that poses an operational or financial risk to the company in the area of the workshop.

Qualification, Skills and Competence

Minimum Qualification

B.Sc./HND/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with minimum of 12 years hands-on experience the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of plants and equipment with at least 5 years managing an efficient workshop and team of engineers. Knowledge and proficiency in the use of relevant diagnostic devices and modern tools in addressing common and major issues related to operational mechanical equipment will be added advantage.
